No pleasure in your presence, you are uneasy. A lifetime is the sentence for the birth of me. My brothers and my sisters, nothing could mean more. We've learned to live with difference, to exist outside of the sides of this war.

To young to know why the fighting started, how can I help to make it end, the stake to take a stand, I could be discarded from you love again.

When there's anger in your movement, of course it spreads around. There've been times we've talked about it, other times we've had to shout 'cause a mother's silence is deafening, keeps her children's heads hung. Resenting has never been part of defending the unending to these words that we've all sung.

To young to know why the fighting started, but please, please, please make it end. Don't make us take sides, don't push us outside into the cold again.
